What do we see in this poster?

This “Orchidee 01” mural, printed on a poster, shows a close-up of the namesake flowers. Orchids have long represented beauty and fertility, but also passion and loyalty. Due to the composition of the image, we only really see one or two of the flowers clearly. The rest of the mural is out of camera focus and appears blurry. The background shines with a diffuse white light, which has an almost heavenly component because it does not blind the viewer, but rather illuminates the scene from all angles. Nothing remains hidden. The main focus of the mural is the second orchid flower from the left. It is the only flower that can be seen in full detail. The others are out of focus, or looking in a further direction. The intense colors of the calyx range from orange to purple.
